Job Description:

As a Kitchen Team Member at Misery Mountain Ski Area, you'll be an essential part of our culinary team, responsible for preparing and serving food in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Your role is crucial in keeping our guests fueled and content during their time on the slopes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation: Assist with food preparation, cooking, and assembly of menu items.

  • Cooking: Prepare a variety of dishes, including hot and cold meals, snacks, and beverages.

  • Safety: Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the well-being of all guests.

  • Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, including food preparation and cooking areas.

  • Stock Management: Ensure that kitchen inventory is well-stocked and organized, and assist with restocking as needed.

  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to maintain an efficient and friendly kitchen operation.

Qualifications:

  • A passion for preparing and serving delicious food.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Attention to detail, especially in food preparation and safety.

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service is a plus but not required. Training is available for suitable candidates.

Schedule:

Seasonal, part-time positions are available, primarily on weekends and during peak skiing and snowboarding times.
