Part-Time Positions

Job Description:

As a Lift Operator at Misery Mountain Ski Area, you'll be an integral part of the team responsible for ensuring smooth and safe operations of our T-Bars and Chairlift. Your primary goal will be to assist skiers and snowboarders in safely boarding and disembarking from the lifts, as well as ensuring their overall safety throughout the ride.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lift Operations: Operate and monitor T-Bars and Chairlift to assist guests in accessing the slopes.

  • Safety: Enforce safety guidelines and policies to ensure the well-being of all visitors.

  • Guest Assistance: Provide assistance to guests, including loading and unloading equipment and ensuring a comfortable lift experience.

  • Maintenance: Perform routine equipment checks and report any issues to maintenance staff.

  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a cohesive and efficient lift operation.

  • Customer Service: Assist in answering guests' questions and addressing concerns, providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for winter sports and a desire to create memorable experiences for guests.

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety.

  • Previous experience as a lift operator is a plus but not required. We offer training for the right candidates.

Schedule:

Seasonal part-time positions available. Shifts typically include weekends and holidays during the winter season.
